British Army MTP waterproof overtrousers, made from breathable MVP (Moisture Vapour Permeable) fabric and commonly referred to as Gore-Tex trousers.

Designed to be worn over combat trousers and other clothing, they provide a lightweight waterproof outer layer without the bulk of heavier wet-weather kit.

Ideal for cadets, fieldcraft, hiking, camping, fishing, outdoor work and general wet-weather use.

Condition

Grade 1

Good used, fully serviceable military surplus.

Normal Grade 1 characteristics may include:

• light fading;
• minor marks;
• evidence of previous laundering;
• previous-service or ownership markings;
• light cosmetic wear; and
• minor variation between individual garments.

Items remain suitable for normal use and should have no major holes or damage.

As these are previously issued waterproof garments, condition relates to their overall serviceability and physical condition rather than a guarantee of factory-new waterproof performance.

Sizing

These are overtrousers, so military sizing is intended to provide sufficient room to wear them over normal combat clothing.

Depending on the issue pattern, sizes may be shown using military measurements or grouped sizes such as Small, Medium and Large.

Where the original MOD size is available, we recommend selecting based on the military measurements rather than relying solely on a conventional S/M/L conversion.
