Size

British Army Desert DPM (DDPM) windproof trousers, designed as a durable outer layer for use in warm, dry and exposed environments.

Featuring the distinctive British Desert Disruptive Pattern Material camouflage, these trousers are cut to allow freedom of movement and layering while providing additional protection from wind and general field conditions.

Now increasingly associated with British military operations of the Iraq and Afghanistan era, Desert DPM kit is also becoming more popular with collectors alongside its continued use for fieldcraft, airsoft, outdoor work and general wear.

Features

  • British Army Desert DPM / DDPM camouflage
  • Wind-resistant outer-trouser design
  • Hard-wearing military construction
  • Generous cut for layering
  • Large cargo/storage pockets
  • Adjustable waist features depending on issue pattern
  • Ankle adjustment depending on version
  • Lightweight compared with heavier waterproof overtrousers
  • Suitable for field and outdoor use

Please note: These are windproof trousers and are not waterproof MVP/Gore-Tex overtrousers.

As military surplus, individual garments may vary slightly in camouflage shade, manufacturer, labels, pocket arrangement and production details.

Condition

Please select your required condition when ordering.

New / Unissued

Unused surplus with no meaningful evidence of previous wear.

Minor storage marks, creasing or age-related variation may still be present.

Like New

Excellent overall condition with minimal evidence of previous use.

May have been issued or lightly worn but should present particularly well.

Grade 1

Good used, fully serviceable military surplus.

Normal signs of previous issue may include:

  • Light fading
  • Minor cosmetic marks
  • Evidence of previous laundering
  • Previous ownership or service markings
  • Minor wear to fastenings or adjustment points
  • Slight variation in camouflage shade

Grade 1 trousers should have no major holes or damage affecting normal use.

Grade 2

Heavily used but still serviceable military surplus.

Grade 2 trousers may show:

  • Noticeable fading
  • Staining or heavier cosmetic marks
  • More substantial general wear
  • Previous ownership or service markings
  • Minor repairs
  • Small holes or areas of minor fabric damage
  • More obvious wear to fastenings or adjustment points

Grade 2 is our lowest normal wearable grade.

Unserviceable

Items with major tears, significant staining, major damage or other substantial defects are classed as Unserviceable and will not be supplied through this normal listing.

Sizing

British military trousers normally use three measurements:

Inside Leg / Waist / Seat

For example:

80/88/104

  • 80 cm inside leg – approx. 31.5"
  • 88 cm waist – approx. 34.5"
  • 104 cm seat – approx. 41"

Some older Desert DPM garments may use slightly different markings depending on manufacturer or issue period.

Where possible, select using the original military measurements rather than relying solely on a civilian Small / Medium / Large conversion.
