British Army Desert DPM MVP Gore-Tex Waterproof Jacket
British Army Desert DPM MVP waterproof jacket, designed as an outer protective layer for use in wet and demanding conditions.
Constructed from Moisture Vapour Permeable (MVP) waterproof fabric, commonly known as Gore-Tex, the jacket provides weather protection while allowing moisture vapour to escape from inside the garment.
Finished in the distinctive two-colour Desert DPM camouflage pattern, these jackets are an excellent piece of practical military surplus for hiking, camping, fishing, outdoor work and wet-weather use, as well as for collectors of British military clothing.

Condition
Grade: Grade 1
Each jacket is individually inspected and conservatively graded before sale.
Issued examples may display normal signs of military use, including minor marks, fading, previous name markings or general wear. This is consistent with service surplus and will vary between individual garments.
Please refer to our Condition Guide for full details of our grading system.
Sizing
British military jackets use metric sizing, typically displayed as two measurements such as:
180/104
The first number refers broadly to the intended height of the wearer and the second to chest measurement, both in centimetres.
MVP outerwear is designed with room for clothing and layers underneath, so the fit can be more generous than a conventional civilian jacket.
If you're unsure which size to choose, see our Military Sizing Guide or contact us and we'll be happy to help.
About Desert DPM
Desert DPM was developed for British Armed Forces operations in arid environments and became particularly associated with deployments in Iraq, Afghanistan and the wider Middle East.
The pattern was eventually superseded by Multi-Terrain Pattern (MTP), making Desert DPM increasingly associated with an earlier generation of British operational clothing.
Military Surplus
These are original British military surplus jackets rather than commercially produced camouflage clothing.
As military contract garments, details including labels, manufacturers, colour shades and minor construction features can vary between production batches.
Where multiple jackets are available, photographs should be considered representative unless otherwise stated.
