British Army Desert DPM Padded UBACS Combat Shirt
British Army Desert DPM padded UBACS combat shirt, designed for wear beneath body armour in warm and arid environments.
This version features the distinctive lightweight torso combined with Desert DPM sleeves and additional padding around the shoulders, elbows and forearms.
Often referred to by surplus buyers as a Norgi-style combat shirt, this is technically an Under Body Armour Combat Shirt (UBACS) rather than a traditional thermal Norgi.
A particularly useful piece of older British combat clothing for collectors, fieldcraft, airsoft, outdoor use or military-inspired workwear.

Sizing
Desert UBACS shirts may use British military height/chest sizing or letter sizing depending on manufacturer and production batch.
A military size such as:
180/100
generally indicates:
- 180 = recommended wearer height in centimetres
- 100 = chest measurement in centimetres
Approximate Chest Guide
88 cm – 34–35"
96 cm – 37–38"
100 cm – 39–40"
104 cm – 40–41"
112 cm – 43–44"
120 cm – 46–47"
These shirts are intended to fit relatively close around the torso while allowing greater freedom of movement through the sleeves.
